Description

Old ceremonial axe from the Songye people of DR Congo. Ceremonial Axe named Kilonda, used by the Songye and the Nsapo peoples who live in Democratic Republic of Congo.
Metal blade with wooden handle. The western Songye are famous for their axes decorated with faces.
Good condition with traces of tribal use.
