Ancestor figure – Wood – Abron – Ghana – KF Schädler certficate

Stylistic wooden Abron figure  from Ghana. Bron Ahafo region. The male figure has an elaborate coiffure and carries a beads sling around his neck. Good condition with a wonderful dark oily aged patina.

Provenance: Manfred Schäfer collection, ex- gallery owner from Ulm, Germany. With certificate of Authenticity signed by professor Karl-Ferdinand Schädler.
