Great standing wooden ancestor figure from Nepal. Wood, covered with pigment, standing with a raised arm.
Ancestor figures were placed on family shrines. They serve as new abode for the soul of the deceased.

Provenance: former private collection from Germany. Fair condition with clear traces of wear and tear. The wood is clearly weathered as shown on the pictures.
