Authentic ancestor figure from the Suku tribe of DR Congo. The majority of Suku figures were associated with Mbwoolo shrines. TSuku figures are multi-functional and sometimes have contradictory roles, for example, they were used to heal and to cause illness. Fair condition with a powerfull appearance, the wood on the chest contains traces of erosian. The figure is mounted on a wooden base.
