Stylistic ancestor figure from the Suku tribe of DR Congo. The majority of Suku figures were associated with Mbwoolo shrines. TSuku figures are multi-functional and sometimes have contradictory roles, for example, they were used to heal and to cause illness. Fair condition with a powerfull appearance. Face is covered with white kaoliën (phembe). The figure contains clear traces of wear and tear. The feet are restored in the past and 1 leg of the figure on top of the head is damaged.
