Traditional basket from the Oromo people of Ethiopia.
This old basket was used to collect Injera, a kind of spongy crepe characteristic of Ethiopian cuisine. Gernerally they are made from a fermented seed from a local grass on Teff or Fonio. Everything among Oromos, the pancake was made from corn flour or millet.
Wonderfull used basket form Ethiopia with traces of wear and tear.
