Fang Byeri figures are usually characterized as a seated male figure. He has bent legs and an elongated torso, The Fang occupy such a large geographical area that numerous sub-styles have emerged. There are, however, two main stylistic groups – the northern and the southern. Northern Fang figures usually have elongated features and are often adorned with copper strips.
Powerful appearance with beautiful dark oily aged patina. Good condition with traces of tribal use. The figure is decorated with African glass beads.
