Powerfull wooden Fang Byeri figure form Gabon. Fang Byeri figures are usually characterized as a seated male figure. Large figure, total height: 84 cm! He has bent legs and an elongated torso, The Fang occupy such a large geographical area that numerous sub-styles have emerged. There are, however, two main stylistic groups - the northern and the southern. Northern Fang figures usually have elongated features and are often adorned with copper strips.
