A wonderful old loin cover (cache-sex) produced for young Kirdi women.
The shell-shaped metal loin cover is attached to a curved metal.
The Kirdi people, numbering 80.000, are primary farmers and live in small autonomous hamlets. Their artistic production is largely confined to small leather or metal objects, among which are iron `cache-sexe` garments used by women during important ceremonies.
