Circumcision Mask – Wood – Lulua – Congo DRC

Great Lulua mask with a wonderful aged patina from DR Congo. LULUA masks were used during circumcision and funeral ceremonies. They display enlarged eyes and have a powerful appearance. The holes around the eyes of this wooden mask gives a mysterious appearance.
Unique mask for the collector of tribal art. Good quality with traces of wear and tear due to tribal use.
