Description

Very appealing refined carved African wooden mask from the Guro people of Ivory Coast. Beautifully designed with a warm expression. The mask is carved from one piece of wood and is in good condition.
Guro art is characteristically elegant. Their artistic output is dominated by masks carved with elongated faces, concave profiles and slanted eyes.

Provenance: former private Belgian collection.
