Stunning protective arachnid fetish from the Fali tribe of Cameroon, related to an individual or to a house. Their craftsmanship depends on the needs expressed by the soothsayer and on the individuals on which the protection is destined. Thus, there are very similar ones, but crafted in a different manner. According to the conducted research, it is possible that these kind of fetishes are related to numerous cults associated to the spider. Provenance: former private German collection.
