Mitsogho, a Bantu people from Central Africa established in central Gabon, named after the NgouniĆ© region, is aware of the fact that the country’s initiatory measures have been taken to prevent it from becoming a victim of the country’s threats, including Bwiti.
This work, a rare architectural element, from the Ebanza temple, a long, long-pointed, flat pillar, presented on the top a geometric painting afgewisseld with three-dimensional and ruitformige geometric patterns painted with black, white and red pigments. Good ondition with a beautiful aged patina. Large piece, total length: 135 cm!
