Obv.: Elegant, nimbate king, with thin, curving
curls with dot-tips, armed with bow and arrow. He wears long-tailed, beaded tunic over short, softly pleated loin cloth. On left Garuḍa
banner, partly off flan. Sections of first half of prose legend from I o’clock, jayati mahītalaṃ skandaguptaḥ sudhanvī, ‘The excellent
archer, Skandagupta, conquers earth’. Beneath the left arm skan[da] in large letters / Rev.: Śrī seated with folded legs on lotus. She holds
diadem fillet and lotus. A pleated hip cloth covers the legs. In top left quarter, coins pour from a shell as treasure pot; in the right field
