Initiation mask – Wood – Ngbaka – DR Congo

Great African wooden mask form the NGBAKA tribe of Zaire. Recognizable primarilly for their ridged noses. These kind of masks are worn during initiation ceremonies. The mask has an oval and a concave face.
The powerful mask is in good condition with traces of tribal use.
