Description

Seated gold-coloured wooden Buddha. Good condition with traces of age. Around the middle there is a crack in the wood. View the photos for your own impression. Weight: 5000 grams

The Buddha sits in the Abhaya Mudra pose.
The Abhaya Mudra is referred to as the reassuring gesture. The raised hand up to chest height with the palm of the hand facing outwards is the hand position of reassurance and fearlessness.
