Messenger bell – Bronze – Benin

Beautiful Benin Bronze Messenger Bell. The handle of this bell is in the part middle. On the bottem is the bell and it has beautiful tribal figurations. On top a statue of a tribal animal figure. This item is used as a bell, look at the clapper inside.

Beautifully made, with plenty of details, tribal figurations. It has a beautiful brown, greenish patina.
This bell is of high quality and was made with the – cire perdue technique- , and is therefore unique in it’s kind. Beautifully finished off in detail.
