Beautifull bone neck rest from DR Congo. Of classical form with incised geometric patterns. The  neck rest is widely used by women to protect their hairdo. When they lie on the support with their neck, there is no weight on the hair which allows the hairdo to stay intact.

Good condition, with a beautiful aged patina.
