Unique copper KOTA stool from Gabon, remarkably refined with 4 reliquary ancestor faces. The seat is decorated with various geometric patterns engraved in yellow copper. It obtained a slightly greenish patina of age.
Chairs and stool are items of prestige. Notice how KOTA use similar characteristics on chairs, sculptures and other objects they create. The “guard” masks on this stool face three directions as protective figures.
In good condition with traces of wear and tear.
