The faces show the recognisable Tabwa features, including the characteristic tattoo‑like scarification patterns, carved in clean, linear motifs across the cheeks and forehead — a hallmark of Tabwa aesthetics . The figures are rendered with strong proportions and confident carving, reflecting the Tabwa tradition of honouring ancestors (mipasi) through sculptural representation.
