Very interesting religious loincloth of the pygmy peoples of the Ituri forest, Congo DRC
Ficus fiber fabric, obtained by beating the bark. They were woven by men and painted by women using a decoction of gardenia mixed with coal ash.
Large example, richly decorated, it is the typical clothing of the people of the equatorial forest called Mbuti
