Unique Yombe ancestor figure from DR Congo. The ancestor figure has a great patina of use.
The 300,000 YOMBE people are artistically prolific.
This superb example of Kongo sculpture shows the emphasis given to the head and detailed body.
Good condition with traces of tribal use and a beautiful aged patina. The purse of the figure is restored around the straps in the past.
