Large wooden ancestor figure from the Tiv people of Nigeria. Typical large round shaped head. Enormous piece, total lenght: 110 cm!
Good condition with a wonderful aged patina. Covered with metal jewelry around it`s ears, neck waist and ankle.
Provenance: Manfred Schäfer, former gallery owner from Ulm, German. Including custom made stand.
