Dance mask – Wood – Baule – Ivory Coast

Superb old dance mask, from the BAULE people of Ivory Coast.
The mask is carved in one piece of wood.
The item present a very fine shape, with scarification’s on the face, and a superb hairstyle.
Wonderfulaged patina, with shades of colors. Good condition with clear traces of wear and tear. The mask is made from hardwood and feels sturdy.
