Unique Yombe standing figure. The unusual figure is covered with copper plates in golden color.
The 300,000 YOMBE people are artistically prolific.
This superb example of Kongo sculpture shows the emphasis given to the head and detailed body.
Good condition with traces of tribal use and a beautiful aged patina. The entire body is covered in metal plates and decorated with cauri shells. Besides the figure are two standing leopards.
