Great African wooden mask form the NGBAKA tribe of Zaire. These kind of masks are worn during initiation ceremonies. The mask has an oval and a concave face with an elongated triangular nose. The Ngbaka style is recognizable through their elongated features, a line of vertical scarification on the forehead / nose.
The powerful mask is in good condition with traces of tribal use.
