Striking Nkisi Bakongo mask from DR Congo. In order to stimulate and obtain a spirit`s protection, Kongo people hammer nails into its wooden representation and shout at it. Good condition with signs of wear and tear and a powerfull appeance. The face is decorated with metal plates.
